Description
A small study circle to explore the ideas and exercises from “To the Actor on the technique of acting” by Michael Chekhov, together. It’s a space to read, move, imagine, and reflect side by side.
Who is Michael Chekhov?
He was a brilliant actor and teacher, once a student of Stanislavski, who believed that true creativity comes from the imagination. His techniques help us connect body, mind, and feeling, so that our work feels alive and inspired.
What will we do?
In each session, we’ll read a chapter from the book and try out some of Chekhov’s exercises, discovering through experience rather than theory.
